The new regulations demand all the pools to assist entry system. This indicates that the swimming pools need to have two assisted entries for over 300 linear feet. ADA pool lifts is expected to as primary and secondary means including transfer wall, stairs or transfer systems. Swimming pools below 300 linear feet can have one entry system that is ADA compliant.

The new laws need all public pools to be equipped with proper assisted entry system. ADA Compliant pool lifts should be such that it should facilitate remote operation by a disabled person from the water level or the deck and should meet all the requirements.

ADA Pool lift regulations state that the lift should be featured with a mechanical actuator that is found in hospital beds. This should be featured with 24V rechargeable battery. The safety features associated to the ADA pool lifts need to meet the safety standards of the act.

The pool lifts are equipments that are carrying a disabled person and these chairs come featured with good seating space, stability vests, seat pads, arm rests, battery and charges. It also swivels for 360 degree and offers easy operation in the pool.
